No search within saves

Deleted posts vanish from saves
When a Reddit user deletes their post, a moderator removes it, or an entire subreddit gets banned, the post disappears from your saved feed. How to find old Reddit saved posts right now
If you need to find a specific saved post today and did not capture it outside Reddit, here are your options in order of reliability.
1. Scroll your saved feed
Open Reddit, go to your profile, and tap Saved. If the post is within your most recent 1,000 saves, it is somewhere in the list. Reddit does not offer a date filter or keyword filter for saves, so you scroll. On the Reddit app for iPhone, the saved feed loads in batches. If the post is old, it can take a long time.
2. Request your Reddit data export
Go to reddit.com/settings/data-request in a desktop browser. Choose the full account history option and submit. Reddit sends a ZIP file with CSV files including saved_posts.csv. The export can take up to 30 days and you are limited to one request per 30 days. Because the export is generated from Reddit's database records rather than the live API, it can include saves from past the 1,000-item cap. The catch: each row is a bare URL with no title or content, so a deleted post gives you a dead link.
3. Search Reddit publicly
If you remember any keywords, the subreddit name, or the approximate date, use Reddit's main search bar. This searches all public content, not your personal saves. Add the subreddit name to narrow results (for example, “chicken marinade site:reddit.com/r/Cooking” in Google). This only works if the post still exists.

Step 1: Share the Reddit post to Tote

What about third-party Reddit save tools?
Browser extensions like Bookmarkeddit and desktop tools like Filter for Reddit (ffr) connect to the Reddit API to add search and filtering to your saves. These work on desktop but not on iPhone.
