Share from Instagram to Tote
Send a Reel or post from Instagram straight to Tote, add it to a list if you like, and find it later in Recent, search, or on the map.
Step by step
Save an Instagram find
The Instagram menu may move slightly between app versions, but the paper-airplane Share button always starts the flow.

Open a post or Reel
In Instagram, open the post or Reel you want to keep in Tote.

Tap the paper airplane
Tap Instagram’s paper-airplane Share button beside the post or Reel.

Choose Share to
In Instagram’s share menu, tap Share to to open your iPhone share sheet.

Choose Tote
Tap Tote in the row of apps. If it is not visible, swipe across the row or tap More.

Add it to a list
Choose a list while Tote saves the post, or leave it in Recent and organize it later.

Find it in Tote
Open Tote to find the save in Recent, search for it later, or see a place-based find on the map.
If you get stuck
Quick fixes
Most problems are solved by opening the full iPhone share sheet or giving Tote a moment to finish processing.
Instagram looks different
Instagram occasionally moves its sharing controls. Look for the paper airplane, Share, or Share to.
The save is still processing
Give Tote a moment to finish, then check Recent. You can keep using Instagram while it processes.
Your Instagram find is saved
Open Tote to see it in Recent, search for it later, or find location-based saves on the map when you need them.
