Should I buy it?

Five quick questions for a clear answer, even when the answer is wait.

What you type is sent to our server and, when Jev is on, through OpenRouter to TypeSafe AI to score options, and it is not stored.

How does the price compare with your budget?
How often would you use it?
Do you already own something similar?
How long have you wanted it?
Would you buy it at full price?

How it works

A little less second-guessing

Use the five questions when one purchase is on your mind, or put several options side by side when you cannot choose.

01

Name the decision

Write the item you are considering, or add the options competing for your attention.

02

Answer honestly

The buy-it checklist looks at the practical signals that make a purchase easier to live with.

03

Get a clear next step

See a verdict, the reasons behind it, or a winner when you ask the tool to pick for you.

Decision maker questions

How the checklist, Jev, and the coin flip fit together.

What happens to what I type?+

What you type is sent to our server and, when Jev is on, through OpenRouter to TypeSafe AI to score options, and it is not stored.

How is the percent made?+

When Jev is connected, it scores the answers and returns a buy chance. The number is shown as Jev plus a percent so you can tell it apart from the built-in checklist.

What is the buy-it checklist?+

The checklist looks at price against your budget, likely use, whether you own something similar, how long you have wanted it, and whether you would buy it at full price. It turns those answers into a score out of 10.

How does Help me decide work?+

Add two to five options and, if useful, tell it what matters most. Jev compares each option in every order to reduce order effects. If Jev is unavailable, the tool makes a clear coin flip instead of showing a made-up percent.
