How do I see when a TikTok was posted?+
Open the video in TikTok, tap Share, then Copy link. Paste that link above and press Find the date. The date and time appear at once in your time zone and in UTC, with how long ago that was.
Does it work on deleted or private videos?+
Yes. A full TikTok link or video ID gives an estimated time even when the video is gone. The estimate may be hours earlier than the posted time.
How accurate is the date?+
The video ID contains a timestamp. In our check of 60 videos on 26 Sep 2026, it was 3 to 94 seconds before TikTok's posted time for 58 of them. Two were 12 and 17 hours earlier. When TikTok's page loads, the tool shows its posted time instead of the ID estimate.
What time zone is the date in?+

Can I paste just the video ID?+
Yes. The ID is the long number at the end of a TikTok video link. Paste it on its own and the date appears at once. Short links like vm.tiktok.com need one request to TikTok to find the video first.
