Where LinkedIn saved posts live on iPhone
LinkedIn does not put a Saved tab in the bottom bar. Saves sit in the account menu behind your profile picture.
To open your saved posts:
- Open LinkedIn.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-left.
- Tap Saved posts.
You can also open linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts in Safari while signed in — same collection as the app.
Saves sync with your LinkedIn account, not the device. Open the same account on another phone or on the web and you should see the same list.
How to save a post on iPhone
Finding saves only helps if you know how they got there.
- Open a post in the LinkedIn feed (or open the post itself).
- Tap the More icon (⋯) on the upper right of the post.
- Tap Save.
LinkedIn usually shows a brief confirmation, sometimes with a shortcut to view saved posts. The author is not notified. Saves stay private.
You generally cannot save certain feed cards the same way — Help notes that recommended jobs, follow recommendations, work anniversary updates, and profile-change updates are not savable as feed posts. If Save is missing from the menu, that item may not support the feature.
Common mix-up: a reaction (Like, Celebrate, Insightful, and so on) is not a Save. Reactions show on the post. Saves go to Saved posts. If you “saved” something with a reaction only, it will not appear in Saved posts.

These feel interchangeable. They are not. That is why the item “isn’t there.”

Saved posts is the find target for “where did I bookmark that LinkedIn post?”
Saved jobs is a different product surface. On iPhone: open Jobs → Job tracker → Saved. Do not dig through Saved posts looking for a job listing you bookmarked from Jobs.
LinkedIn does not offer Instagram-style Collections or folders for feed saved posts. One flat list. No tags. No topic buckets inside the native app.

On a computer (or when the app menu is confusing):
- Go to linkedin.com and sign in.
- On the homepage left pane, click Saved Items (wording may say Saved items).
- Open Saved posts and articles.

Same account, same saves as the iPhone app. Use the desktop list when you need a bigger screen to scroll a long pile.
Why a saved post seems missing
Work this checklist in order:
- Wrong menu. You are looking in the feed, Notifications, or Jobs. Open the profile picture menu → Saved posts.
- Wrong account. Switch accounts from the profile menu and open Saved posts again. Saves do not merge across accounts.
- Reacted, not saved. A reaction is not a Save. There is no “reacted posts” folder that replaces Saved posts.
- You saved a job, not a post. Check Jobs → Job tracker → Saved.
- Buried in a long scroll. There is no search inside Saved posts. Keep scrolling if the post is not near the top.
- Author deleted the post, or the account was closed / restricted. A save is a pointer to the original post, not a full copy. When the source goes away, the item can vanish or fail to open with little or no notice.
- App not updated. Update LinkedIn from the App Store, reopen it, and look for Saved posts. Or use the
my-items/saved-postsURL in Safari.
Can you search saved posts?
No — not inside the Saved posts list. LinkedIn’s main search covers people, jobs, companies, and public content. It does not jump to “posts I saved that mention X.”
Practical options on iPhone:
- Confirm profile picture → Saved posts on the right account.
- Scroll the list.
- Remember an approximate date, author, or company and scan.
- Open the same account on desktop if the list is huge.
- Search LinkedIn publicly for a phrase only to confirm the post still exists — then check whether your Saved list still points to it.
There are no native folders or Collections for feed saves. If your real goal is “find this by topic weeks later across apps,” that is outside what LinkedIn’s Saved posts list does. Use native first; optional share-sheet tools come after.
After native: share important LinkedIn finds to Tote
Native Saved posts are the right first answer. Use profile picture → Saved posts.
When a post matters for later — a hiring tip, a framework, a company note, a thread you will need by topic — share it to Tote from the iPhone share sheet when you save it. Keep using LinkedIn Saved posts for day-to-day bookmarks. That is where the platform stores them. Tote is optional, after that — same pattern as Facebook Saved, X bookmarks, TikTok favorites, Instagram Saved Reels, and Reddit saved posts.
