Questions about this quiz

What the quiz does, what it does not know, and what to do with your result.

What is seasonal color analysis?+

Seasonal color analysis sorts people into seasons by three traits of their natural coloring: undertone (warm or cool), value (light or deep), and chroma (bright or soft). Each season has a palette of colors that tends to look best near the face. This quiz uses the 12-season system.

How do I know what season I am?+

Answer questions about your veins, how you tan, your natural hair and eye color, and which colors get compliments. The quiz adds up how warm or cool, light or deep, and bright or soft your answers are. Your strongest trait names your season, such as Soft Autumn or Bright Winter.

How accurate is an online color analysis quiz?+

A quiz gives you a good starting point, not a final answer. An in-person draping, where a stylist holds fabric next to your face in daylight, is more accurate. Try a few colors from your result next to your face in natural light and see if your skin looks clearer.

What is the difference between Soft Autumn and Soft Summer?+

Both seasons look best in muted, gentle colors. Soft Autumn leans warm, so sage, camel, and soft coral suit it. Soft Summer leans cool, so dusty blue, mauve, and pewter suit it.

Is this color analysis quiz free?+

Yes. It is free, takes about two minutes, and needs no photo, sign-up, or email. Your answers stay in your browser.
